Beachlife Kicks Off at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas by Audra Stafford for California Life
Las Vegas has often been called California’s “backyard playground,” and with good reason. The Strip is known for its casinos, nightlife, entertainment, restaurants and incredible hotels. But those don’t end at the end of the Strip.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, located just east of the Strip and just north of McCarran International Airport, offers all of the above… and more!
During a recent media visit to the hotel (my first!) I stayed at the new all-suites HRH Tower. And from the moment I arrived, I felt like a (Hard) Rock Star! I registered at the VIP Check-In, then headed up to my suite (which was spacious and chic- but also very comfortable- and had a great view of the pool!)
Soon after, I was whisked away on a tour of the property, including the over-the-top Real World Suite, which has a bowling alley, indoor hot tub, and more rooms than I could count!
Throughout the hotel, you’ll see all kinds of the cool pop culture memorabilia–costumes, leather jackets, signed guitars. (I was especially taken by Michael Jackson’s sparkling white glove!)
You’ll also see the amazing restaurant–35 Steaks & Martinis. (Try the artichoke dip-served IN an artichoke, it’s the chef’s mother’s recipe! The asparagus, steak and “King of Desserts” were also DE-LICIOUS!)
My favorite part of the hotel, though, would definitely have to be the pool–actually, the several pools! And with summer right around the corner, those pools are sure to be the coolest weekend hot spots in Sin City!
The Hard Rock Hotel just launched Beachlife, a weekly pool party that consists of Summer Camp Fridays, Nectar Music Festival Saturdays, the famed Rehab Sundays and Relax Mondays. It’s the perfect way to spend a 4-day weekend under the hot Vegas sun!
