Operation Homefront, the national non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance to military families, is taking nominations for its “Military Child of the Year” awards.
Each year, an outstanding military child from each branch of service – Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and the National Guard. The six awardees will receive $10,000 each, a laptop computer and other donated gifts, and will be flown with a parent or guardian to Washington, D.C., for a special recognition gala in April.
The deadline for nominations is TONIGHT, December 11, 2015 at 11:45pm CST. Click here to nominate a military child.
