California is a golfer’s paradise. Our great state is home to some of the nation’s biggest golf tournaments, like the Farmer’s Insurance Open and AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM. It’s also home to hundreds of golf courses, located in some of the most beautiful settings in the world.
Our Lane Stafford, an avid golfer, was recently invited to hit the links at Woods Valley Golf Club in north San Diego County. Read on to find out why he says the course “should be on everyone’s playlist.”
The Woods Valley Golf Club is as beautiful to see as it is enjoyable to play. The layout is spectacular, very challenging, and incorporates the natural landscape superbly. The elevation changes provide interesting choices for the golfer, as well as sweeping views of the surrounding terrain. At times one can just enjoy the quiet isolation, natural bird sounds, and extensive presence of squirrels, rabbits and other wildlife.
With reasonable greens fees and a location just 10 minutes northeast of Escondido, Woods Valley Golf Club should be on everyone’s playlist!”
