This week on California Life, we’re bringing you the best of Halloween Time from the Happiest Place on Earth. Each year, Disneyland and Disneyland’s California Adventure Park transform into a spooky wonderland and we’re bringing you the best of this year’s haunts.
For the first time ever, Cars Land is getting in on the Halloween celebrations as it’s transforming Radiator Springs into Radiator Screams. And that’s just one of the many Halloween Time transformations you’ll find around the Disneyland Resort.
From the giant “Oogy Boogy” looming over the park’s entrance to the bats on Buena Vista Street, there’s no shortage of spooky at California Adventure.
And when you step into Cars Land, the fun really gets revved up. “All of the characters from our land have decorated their businesses and homes with the Haul-O-Ween Spirit,” explained Edith Saucedo with Walt Disney Imagineering.
And if you want a really good scare, you’ve come to the right place. As soon as the sun sets, the parks brand new Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! ride transforms into “Monsters After Dark” – a darker, spookier version of the beloved attraction.
In addition to all of these new attractions, the Halloween Time favorites like Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, the Haunted Mansion Holiday and the Pumpkin Festival on Main Street still remain throughout the park.
Watch the full segment below as we take you inside the parks Halloween-inspired transformation or see it air nationwide on California Life with Heather Dawson.
