“MAKE YOUR OWN RULES … BE YOU … OR WHOEVER YOU WANT TO BE”
Lisa Rinna, the Lips Behind Rinna Beauty, Shares Suggestions for her First Product, the ICON Lip Kit
“I don’t like rules,” says Lisa Rinna, who recently announced the creation of her new brand, Rinna Beauty, starting with the ICON Lip Kit. Famous for her fuller lips, which have been emulated on the red carpet for years, Lisa has created shades of lipsticks, gloss and a lip liner, which come in every kit. Naturally, they are influenced by Lisa’s own taste and style. A beauty rebel herself, she encourages people to make their own rules when applying her lipstick.
“You can be anyone you want to be,” says Lisa. “The world is yours. Be bold. Have fun. That’s what Rinna Beauty is all about.” Personally curated by Lisa, who has developed the brand for nearly a decade, the ICON Lip Kit comes in three shades of lipstick (“Rosé All Day,” “Troublemaker” and “Pucker Up, B!tch”) and lip gloss (“No Filter,” “Dancing Queen” and “Guilty Pleasure”) as well as a lip liner, “Notice Me”. She created each product envisioning the person wearing them, focusing on color, texture, wearability and how long it lasts, in her every day signature lip colors.
Here, Lisa envisions settings perfect for each of Rinna Beauty’s Lip ICON kit. “Rośe All Day” — “Sunday brunch with your besties” suggests Lisa of this shade, which a creamy pink nude color. Line your lips with my “Notice Me” liner to make them really stand out. “Pair this color with a soft blush that matches the lip to create that flushed look.”
Lip Gloss: Dancing queen – You can wear this over “Rose All Day” to give your pink lips an added gloss. “I reach for this color for a wild night on the town!” says Lisa. “Where do you think I got the name?’ The gloss, a warm beige nude with muted pink undertone, goes great with a glittery gold eyeshadow, contoured cheeks and body shimmer to help you “glowfrom inside out!” Be a legend in these colors.
The NO APOLOGIES Lipkit contains:
Lipstick: “Pucker Up B!tch” — “This is for the person who knows what they want,” Lisa says of this lipstick, a warm tone in a caramel nude color. “ It can be worn by the CEO going into a day of power meetings, or out for a night of fun “Pucker Up B!tch” creates a powerful look, made even sexier with my ‘Notice Me’ liner. From boss in the boardroom to boss of the bedroom. For truth telling lips with no apologies.
“Guilty pleasure” – Wear it over my “Pucker Up B!tch” lipstick to finish off your power look. This is a creamy nude gloss with a hint of coral. What’s great is you can also wear it alone just with the “Notice Me” liner when you want a lighter lip for that “romantic lip look” says Lisa of this gloss. “Add in long lashes and perfect glowing skin and it’s the perfect romantic date at home.”
The BIRTHDAY SUIT Lipkit contains:
“Troublemaker” — This shade, a creamy warm beige nude, the perfect neutral lipstick, is “great for going from day to night,” says Lisa. Of course, I always line with the “Notice Me” liner. Pair it with brown and taupe colors on the lid and a subtle brown/black pencil liner on the toplash for that perfect natural look.
No filter – Top off “Troublemaker” with this shade to get a shimmery, nude shine or wear it on it’s own for that perfect, nude glossy lip. “The everyday perfect shade for the daily hustle,” says Lisa of the gloss, a sheer nude with slight shimmer. “Add the Notice Me liner, black mascara and a winning attitude and you’ll be fabulous.”
All three kits contain the self-sharpening “Notice Me” lip liner. Lisa’s signature nude lip liner shade which is a cocoa brown color that compliments all of the lipstick and gloss colors.
