Disney’s new movie, Raya and the Last Dragon, is out this Friday (March 5th) and I wanted to share this fun new way they’re celebrating the movie’s release by taking families on a cultural adventure through their tastebuds. The film is already getting rave reviews!
For a fully immersive experience, Disney has collaborated with Raddish Kids to take families on a culinary adventure to Raya’s homeland Kumandra – a magical land inspired by Southeast Asia — with kids leading the recipe creation.
Families can create their own “Dinner & a Movie” night with a free printable digital Raddish cooking kit that includes three Raya-inspired recipes: Shrimp Noodles, Pork Lettuce Cups and Mango Sticky Rice. Kids can take charge in the kitchen with the easy-to-follow recipe guides, and a step-by-step cook-along video with an appearance from a Disney chef. (A sneak peek here.)
Readers can access the free, flavor-filled kit at Raddish.com/DisneyRaya and photos are available here.
