Mario Andretti and Richard Petty, who better than these two racing legends to create a race car driving experience. Jeff Francis and The Speed Journal take us to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana California for the Mario Andretti and Richard Petty NASCAR racing experiences.

Jeff Francis drives in cars that are all built for the NASCAR racing experience and the Richard Petty Driving Experience. The public is given the ability to come out and drive a real NASCAR race car on the super speedway and reach speeds up to 155 miles per hour.

The Indy cars are built for race fans and thrill-seekers to come out and drive an Indy car on a Super Speedway and can reach speeds up to 155 miles per hour. The difference between the Indy car and the stock car are pretty clear. A stock car is more like driving a boat. It moves around and it’s big and a cushy ride.

Whereas the Indy car is like a fighter jet, you’re stuck to the ground. It’s gonna go wherever you point it to go and it’s an intense experience. There’s no passenger or backseat, that means there’s no instructor onboard. Out on the track there’s no lead and follow, it’s just race car and drivers. However through the helmets there is communication, and spotters will be out on the track helping drivers navigate safely.

The Mario Andretti and Richard Petty driving experiences are flat out fun. If you want to emulate your race heroes and get a huge adrenaline pump then you’ll want to attend the Mario Andretti and NASCAR racing experiences.
