Tropical Waters: A Sip of The Mission Inn at Home


They say when life gives you lemons, make lemonade… but when life gives you limes, make margaritas (from the comfort of your own home).

The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa just released their delicious, signature margaritas while you’re doing your part and staying at home during these unprecedented times.

Their April Margarita of the Month “Tropical Waters” features fresh kiwi and strawberries, a perfect springtime beverage.

Here are the simple and easy steps:


  • 2 oz. Tequila
  • 1 oz. Cointreau
  • 1 Kiwi (Peeled & Sliced)
  • 4 Strawberries (Sliced)
  • 1 Tbsp Simple Syrup
  • Juice of 2 Limes
  • Rim:  Sugar

Garnish: Kiwi Slice


  • Rim edge of margarita glass with lime juice and sugar.
  • Add ice, Tequila, Cointreau, kiwi, strawberries, lime juice and sugar to blender.
  • Pulse until smooth.
  • Pour mix into glass and garnish with a kiwi slice and strawberry.
