At the early age of four-years-old, Social Distortion frontman Mike Ness began listening to AM Radio where he discovered The Beatles, CCR, The Supremes and The Rolling Stones. Growing up in Fullerton, California, he was also raised on blues and countryand would eventually stumble upon his first Gibson guitar at the local pawn shop.

While he’s known for producing and mixing heavyweights such as Tool, Alice In Chains, Queens of The Stone Age, Puscifer, The Melvins, Nine Inch Nails, Satyricon, Coheed and Cambria and Avenged SevenfoldJoe Barresi is also a avid guitarist and guitar collector. While Joe picked up the guitar at the age of seven, it was during a trip to Mandolin Brothers in Staten Island, NY many years later that he came across what would become his first Gibson guitar.
