From Star Wars to Super Nintendo systems, trend spotters are saying that 2018 is going to be like a blast from the past.
“We keep track of whether a trend is getting larger over time or whether it’s spiking due to an event, so in digging through some of the data we found that the 90’s streetwear trend is here to stay for 2018,” explained Lu Ann, an expert in eBay’s 2018 shopping trends.
In fact, eBay sold over 107,000 Adidas Superstar sneakers and over 25,000 Champion sweatshirts in 2017 alone.
Plus, Vinyl Records and record players were a hot commodity as well with the Crosley being the record player of choice by many. And you can expect 2018 to be the year of the coffee connoisseurs with the Chemex coffee pots for gourmet, DIY beverages.
Plus indoor cameras, British-inspired fashion, and old-school technology are all predicted to spike within the upcoming year.
