Exploring the Greens: Coast to Coast Takes On the Galleri Classic  

Golfers rejoice! The PGA signature has returned to the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA, yet again for the Galleri Classic! Coast to Coast with Heather Dawson was able to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of this exciting event and even speak with some of the legendary golfers involved! 

Some of the tour’s top names were on hand to take on this historic course, including former No.1 Golfer, Fred Couples, and many more! Coast to Coast was able to hear from some of these legends, as they praised both the course and event overall. 

“It’s a great event,” exclaimed Couples, “Lotta people last year too…it’s a fun course, it kind of suits my eye a little bit…I think we are here for a long time, I hope, because it is a very very good event.”

Reigning champion David Toms also had some high praises for the event, stating, “It’s an honor to have won here…I think it’s a great venue and I’m honored to be a part of it.”

Not only is the event impacting the golfing world, but also the local Coachella Valley community as a whole! 

Galleri, the event’s sponsor, facilitated donations to six local charities in the Coachella Valley: Desert Cancer Foundation, Hanson House Foundation, Shay’s Warriors: Life After Cancer, Eisenhower Health, Pendleton Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.  

After an intense weekend of competing, former two-time U.S. Open winner Retief Goosen ended up taking home the championship trophy, marking yet another successful golf classic in the Coachella Valley!
