Behind the Scenes of The Thermal Club’s $1 Million Challenge NTT IndyCar Series Race!

Start your engines because there’s something happening in the Coachella Valley…the Thermal Club’s $1 Million Challenge NTT IndyCar Series Race! Come along as Coast to Coast takes viewers behind the scenes of this exciting race and hears from some of the racers involved.

Hosted at the picturesque Thermal Club, the $1 Million Challenge is one of the most unique events in the history of the NTT IndyCar Series and its location proves to be no exception. 

The Thermal Club is private racetrack located in Thermal, CA, that allows motor sports enthusiasts to watch racing, as well as get behind the wheel and try the track themselves. Home to the BMW Performance Driving School, it is the perfect place for any motor enthusiast!

Even the racers were impressed! Racer Graham Rahal of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing had high praise for the track noting, “I’ve been to a lot of these sorts of tracks…this is the crème de la crème, like you’re just not gonna get any better than The Thermal Club.”

With the combination of an amazing location and unique premise, the race proved to be a hit and provided an entire weekend’s worth of fun. The event started with preliminaries to determine 12 racers for the big race, and in the end, it was racer Alex Palou who took home the big trophy and even bigger check!

This race certainly cemented itself as another must-see event in the growing racing sphere of the Coachella Valley!
