The City of Carlsbad is known for its beautiful beaches, notable golf courses like The Crossings at Carlsbad, and now, this ‘Village by the Sea’ is becoming a hub for some of the nation’s largest industries.
Not only is the city the unofficial golf capital of the world, but it’s also home to LEGOLAND, famous Flower Fields, notable surf breaks, luxury resorts like the Cape Rey Hilton, and more.
As if all that wasn’t enough, the renowned technology company GoPro recently relocated its software and sports marketing divisions to Carlsbad as well. “We ended up here because of action sports, but we’re now getting bigger and bigger because of the software talent that’s here as well,” said Rick Loughery – Senior Director of Global Media Relations for GoPro.
All these companies, and dozens of others like Nordson, Processing Point and Thermo Fisher, say it’s not tough to work when you’re located somewhere as beautiful as Carlsbad. The cities quality of life is reflected in many of the businesses that call the city home.
Whether you’re a California local or visiting from afar, Carlsbad is a must-see vacation destination. See why in the full segment below.
