Californians are at the forefront of numerous scientific discoveries and medical breakthroughs. The top television and movie actors, directors, writers and producers work in Hollywood. And some of the best surfers in the world got their start here.
California Life loves to share stories of Californians doing amazing things.

Wright is the President and Founder of The Greater Contribution, a non-profit, all-volunteer
organization that seeks to make a “greater contribution” to the world by helping people suffering from hunger, poverty, disease, natural disasters and war by raising awareness and funds for micro loans.
Host Heather Dawson sat down with Wright to find out how we can all get involved in the fight against poverty.
