Classes Exploring the Arts, Nature & Specialized Experiences

Free Trial Classes Begin June 29

The City of Beverly Hills Community Services Department will launch a unique new series of virtual camps from their Arts & Culture Division called Camp Create – Arts & Specialty Experiences beginning July 7 to August 14.  These camps will explore the arts, nature and other specially-designed experiences.  Camp Create is a unique, one-of-a-kind camp that lets you customize your summer fun. Participants can pick one or more arts or specialty experiences that they would like to participate in to create their own six-week camp to fit their schedule.  

Camp Create has 21 arts and specialty experiences to choose from for babies & tots, youth, teens, adults, seniors and families.  Learn, create and explore with experienced instructors from all over California.  Virtual camp experiences range from visual arts, media, theatre, music, dance, language arts, culinary arts, fitness, gardening and more!  Highlights of some class offerings include:

  • Youth & Teen activities such as Intro to Kids Painting, Zooz Fitness , Music Theory, Invert/Ed Dance it Out and Intro to Baby Sign Language. 
  • Teen/Adult activities including Cooking with Arch, Language Arts – Italian and Teen Improv Jam.
  • Adult and Senior activities such as Water Color Painting for Beginners and Play in Place.
  • Specialty experiences including Oksana’s Financial Education for Youth & Teens, Virtual Gardening and Nature Camp and a Time Capsule Project for LGBT Elders.  

Beginning June 29 to July 3, Camp Create will offer free trial classes to any of the incredible new virtual programs offered.  

Camp isn’t just for kids anymore; there is something for everyone!
