Cruisin’ 2 Freedom with Coast to Coast

Coast to Coast’s J.R. Ybarra gives us an inside look into the Cruisin’ 2 Freedom fundraiser hosted by the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation!

Slave 2 Nothing, a part of the non-profit wing of In-N-Out Burger, hosted its third annual fundraiser to raise awareness and money for organizations that combat human trafficking. The Cruisin’ 2 Freedom event featured a classic California car cruise, as well as cuisine from In-N-Out Burger–all to help fight against human trafficking and spread awareness about substance abuse. 

The event featured a variety of ways for attendees to contribute to the cause, such as raffles, silent auctions, and more. Amassing an incredible $459,570 for the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation, Cruisin’ 2 Freedom proved to be a success!

In-N-Out Burger President Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson thanked the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation for their efforts and reflected on the event stating, “I know that together we are saving people’s lives. We really are, and I know there will just be testimony after testimony because of you guys, so thank you.”

While the event provided attendees with a fun-filled night of cars, good eats, and entertainment, the main hope of organizers is that people reflect on the purpose behind this event and pledge to join the fight against human trafficking.
