If you’ve taken a Disney Cruise from Southern California, you most likely sailed on the Disney Wonder.

Over the last few weeks, the Wonder has been undergoing major renovations in Spain. Lots of new and enhanced experiences are being added to the ship, including a brand new musical based on Disney’s Oscar-winning animated hit, “Frozen.”

California Life’s Audra Stafford was one of a handful of journalists invited to the Disney Cruise Line rehearsal facility in Toronto to get a sneak peek at “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular.” While there, she interviewed the show’s executive producer Kris Bunnell, Tony Award-winning costume designer Paloma Young (a San Diego native) and Michael Mendez, who plays everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf. “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” premieres next week aboard the new-and-improved Disney Wonder. Stay tuned for highlights from opening night!
