Fashion Week San Diego (FWSD), California’s largest traditional fashion week, just hosted it’s 10th annual Fall Runway Shows, revealing a variety of art, beauty, and cultural events and parties.

Dubbed as the official week of Fashion Week San Diego by the City of San Diego, the event showcased a series of events, including a Fashion Film Screening, the Art Behind Beauty behind the runway kick-off event, two nights of runways shows and a trunk show/award ceremony.

As FWSD celebrates the past, present, and future, the 2017 event featured past winners, upcoming womenswear and menswear designers, an art and beauty behind the runway presentation, a dog adoption, and more.

This year’s designers and artists came from various backgrounds and styles. In addition to the popular Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s Haute Dog Show, 10 designers took the stage on Friday, Oct. 6—the first night of the Fall Runway Shows. These included the Stylish Bisou, Jamie Wooning, I am Sublime, Alber Rezko, Kheir Sannai, Hola Swim, A’doreus, BJASHI, Raca and Haus of K2.

The second night of the Fall Runway Shows, featured a special dedication presentation and 11 designers, including Hula Belle, They and them, Taylor whipp, Wafa, RH creation, Oseas Villatorro, Isabel Vianey, Saul lizacri, Territa Torres, Vaughnberry and BAZA.

“As we celebrate the past decade, I’m looking forward to everyone coming together and sharing their incredible talent on the runway and off,” said Allison Andrews, founder and director of FWSD. “Our diverse backgrounds and stories are enriching and light up our lives. Seeing this originality channel its way into fashion and art is truly a sight to behold.”
