The holidays are celebrated all around the world, but this event – the Global Winter Wonderland – brings all of those celebrations together in one place.
“When you walk in, you’ll see our gorgeous illuminated displays that represent a little bit of the holidays, and then we have lanterns from all around the world, representing Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America. So you can travel the world in one night, right here in the parking lot,” explained Joanna Ricken, Marketing Coordinator of Global Winter Wonderland.
Dozens of artisans from China worked for more than 6 weeks to create the colorful lanterns on display at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego – some of which are 60 feet tall!
In addition, the Global Winter Wonderland features live acrobatic performances, rides, games, holiday-themed activities and more.
Not only is this Wonderland taking place in San Diego, but it’s also making it’s way to Sacramento too! You can buy your tickets right here.
