New electric car racing series hits the streets of Long Beach

Auto racing is back on the historic streets of Long Beach.

The 2016 Faraday Future Long Beach ePrix was the only U.S. stop on the 2015/2016 Formula E race calendar, and it didn’t disappoint.

Lucas di Grassi took home his first-ever U.S. win, followed by Stephane Sarrazin in second and Daniel Abt in third.

In addition to all the racing action, fans also got a chance to check out the FFZERO1 Concept Car, which was on display for the first time since the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Our Jason Rzucidlo was at the Faraday Future ePrix. Check out his story below, airing statewide this week on California Life.
