In the mood for a spooky, scary, thriller movie this winter? California Life has you covered with two blockbuster hits in theaters now.

Some villains never die, and that’s the case with Scream (2022.) A quarter century after Ghostface went on his first murderous rampage, he’s back! Fans will not be disappointed with cast originals Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courtney Cox.

“They’re going to experience a movie that’s very similar to the first one, but it’s scarier,” says Courtney Cox, “Scream will always be a classic, but that was twenty-five years ago, and this one is up-to-date in a different way. It’s cool, it’s hip, it’s a scary, funny movie.”

A whole new set of victims include Jack Quaid and Melissa Barrera. Check out the new Scream, in theaters now!

For vampire lovers, there’s a lot of change going on at the Hotel Transylvania. Johnny, in an effort to fit in, becomes a monster. With a twist of a magic button, all the monsters are becoming human. The only way to reverse the curse is to take a journey deep into the Amazon where no monster has gone before.

Selena Gomez, who voices the character of Mavis, says there’s a message in this movie for the whole family: “It just reminds everybody that it’s okay to be different and you should embrace each other for that. I think being yourself is the coolest thing you can be, we’re not meant to be the same. That’s what we should remind ourselves. We are cool just the way we are, even if you’re like me and you’re not cool.”

Ready for some family-friendly spooky action? Hotel Transylvania Transformania is on Amazon Prime.
