It’s an embarrassing problem that everyone has dealt with at one time or another, and for some, it’s a chronic condition.
Fortunately, there are a lot of things you can do to fight the funk. We went straight to “Bad Breath Guru” Dr. Harold Katz to get his tips to combat bad breath, and his number one piece of advice is to drink more water.
“Once your mouth gets dry, bacteria in your mouth start to produce those volatile sulfur compounds,” Dr. Katz said.
Dr. Katz is the founder of The California Breath Clinics and the developer of the TheraBreath line of premium oral care products. He also authored the popular book, The Bad Breath Bible, which is now in its second edition.
