1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird sold for 1.65 million

Las Vegas, NV: California Life‘s Jason Rzucidlo takes us to Las Vegas Convention Center for the 2022 Barrett-Jackson Auctions where a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird sold for $1.65 million.

He checked out some of the coolest cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles in Las Vegas.

About 650 collectible vehicles and 275 pieces of automobilia are crossing the world-famous auction block.

Even Steven Tyler loves the auction block!

Most will be sold to the highest bidder with no reserved price during the 3-day event.

Car enthusiasts are able to take free thrill rides in Dodge and Toyota cars on the Barrett-Jackson performance track outside.

The inspiration: Mr. Fusion from Back to the Future (1985)!

This 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 drew lots of attention. It is a recreation of the Mr. Fusion Time Machine from the Back to the Future franchise.

Another cool vehicle is the 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands Area 51 edition. It features thousands of dollars in upgrades, such as a custom rear bumper, custom front and rear lighting, off-road suspension lift, custom off-road wheels and tires.

Two brand new vehicles are being auctioned off for charities.

First, a 2023 Cadillac Escalade V will benefit Pensole Lewis College of Business and Design.

Secondly, a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Detroit.

Other special collections include the Bryan Frank Collection, the Chevrolet Collection, the High-Octane Collection, the Lindley Collection, the Mini Bike Collection, and finally- the SoCal Collection.
