The rush to start fun vacations in the Yosemite National Park (YNP) area is at full throttle. Yosemite Pines RV Resort and Family Lodging is open and ready to welcome guests to their Resort, just 22 miles from the western gate of YNP.

Yosemite Pines Luxury Cabins for Rent

Guests who are looking to enjoy the outdoors with lodging in a Yosemite Area cabin have the choice of many types with full kitchens and bathrooms or an adventurous stay in a Conestoga Wagon, basic cabins or yurts with beds and microwave and mini-fridge.

RVers enjoy the many site options from partial to full-hookups, and tent campers can experience the full joy of sleeping under the starlit sky.

The best rates for reservations are found at www.yosemitepinesrv.com.

The Resort is located less than three miles from the popular Gold Country town of Groveland with many restaurants, stores, and tourist attractions including the family-friendly Iron Door Saloon, established in 1852. Also in the Sierra Nevada foothills are the “Gold Country” towns of Sonora, Columbia, and Jamestown.

Information on Gold Country towns, hiking, horseback riding, river rafting, swimming, and fishing, etc. can be found on our website at https://tinyurl.com/y9j9ultb where a comprehensive Yosemite Pines Activity Guide (pdf) for the Resort and surrounding area can be downloaded.

For those who are planning to visit Yosemite National Park, a reserved day pass is required as no passes will be sold at the Park gates. The FAQ’s on this page have all the information for YNP passes: https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/covid19.htm.

Two important policies are that although the YNP pass is good for seven days, the pass must be used on the first date. Also, twenty percent of the passes will be held back until two days before the requested date, allowing for some spontaneous travel.

The other option for YNP entrance is to purchase a ticket for the Sonora route YARTS.com shuttle that leaves from our Resort, as a YNP day pass or entrance fee is not required for arrival by YARTS.  Since the shuttles inside YNP will not be operating, travelers should consider bringing their own bikes that can be carried on the YARTS or renting a bike in YNP.

Yosemite Pines Resort is implementing COVID–19 policies to keep guests safe and until further notice, some of their amenities/activities are required to be limited or unavailable. COVID-19 policies and updates are posted on the Resort’s website.

“We are very pleased that so many people are making reservations to enjoy the outdoors with their families, even with the restrictions in place. We encourage people to check on YNP pass availability and then make reservations on our website,” states the Resort Manager.
