With the holiday season coming up quick, delicious treats will soon be popping up everywhere!
Cutting calories when you have a sweet tooth is always a challenge. But nutrition experts like Registered dietician Patricia Bannan say you can actually satisfy your cravings without the guilt!
“You see tons of baked goods around this time of year so one of my tips there is you can replace up to half the sugar in any baked recipe with the zero-calorie sweetener Stevia to save some of that sugar and calories,” Bannan explained.
Bannan also shares her favorite go-to recipe for Pistachio Coconut Lemon Bars – with half the sugar – in a new e-cookbook called “Half Your Cake and Eat it Too!” You can download the book and get more recipe ideas at InTheRaw.com.
