SHINE is a Latin dance drama starring Dexter’s David Zayas, Orange is the New Black’s Alysia Reiner and world-renowned dancers Gilbert Saldivar and Jorge “Ataca” Burgos comes to theaters October 5th, 2018 nationwide.
The film has already won audience’s hearts at Urbanworld Film Festival, where it won the audience award for best feature. Urbanworld Film Festival recently recognized the highly anticipated film adaptation The Hate You Give.
The story revolves around two brothers (Saldivar and Burgos), once celebrated Salsa dancers, who are separated after a tragedy only to be reunited years later on opposing sides of gentrification.
