The Bahamian Government has announced new travel restrictions to protect the local population and visitors. More specifically:
- Commercial flights to and from the US are suspended.
- Private international flights are permitted.
- Private yachts are still allowed to enter the country and can continue to charter as scheduled.
- All incoming travelers are required to upload a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 10 days before departing, as part of a required Electronic Health Visa application.
While commercial flight restrictions may complicate traveling to the region, these measures are intended to ensure that the Bahamas remain one of the safest places for a vacation, especially for private yachts.
This year, IYC has partnered with Premier private aviation company, Magellan Jets, to offer the safest, most purely private way to travel. We can now assist you in planning all logistics for your next trip, so you can travel in complete luxury from your home to your charter yacht.
