Coast to Coast Takes On the 2023 Detroit Auto Show!

Coast to Coast TV heads to downtown Detroit to check out the 2023 Detroit Auto Show! Come along as Jason Rzucidlo gives us an inside look at some of the newest cars, trucks, SUVs, and even flying vehicles being featured at this exciting event. 

Jeep debuted its 2024 Jeep Gladiator which offers 4 models: Sport, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon. This beast features a seven-slot grill, 12.3-inch touch screen, and updated wheel options. If you’re a Jeep fan, you won’t want to miss this inside look!

Ford also debuted some of their new vehicles, showcasing the 2025 Mustang GTD supercar and all-new 2024 F-150 hybrid pickup truck. 

Tier One supplier AISIN was able to give us the inside scoop on their new eAxles, which optimize energy efficiency and maneuverability, ultimately reducing energy consumption. They also displayed their impressive wireframe Demo car i-Mobility vehicle! 

Prepare for a new method of traveling! California-based company Alef Aeronautics introduced their “Model A” flying car which can drive on the street OR take off vertically and fly above traffic! Keep an eye out because vehicle demonstrations are set to begin in 2024. 

Cadillac showed off its new 2025 Cadillac CT5 sedan, which boasts an innovative 33-inch diagonal LED touch-screen display. 

Needing some more space in your vehicle? We checked out the new 2024 GMC Arcadia, which is longer, wider, and taller than previous models, giving drivers ample space as well as a roomier feel. 

For those wanting a hands-on experience, free test rides were being offered in electric vehicles of all kinds such as BMWs, Chevrolets, Cadillacs, Fords, Hummers, Teslas, and Volkswagens! 

There were some big winners at the 2023 EyesOn awards with the Ram 1500 Revolution winning the EyesOn Design Award for the Best Concept Vehicle, and the 2024 Ferrari Purosangue taking home the award for Best Production Vehicle. 

Chevrolet debuted its first-ever hybrid Corvette sports car called the E-Ray, which comes equipped with a 6.2-liter small-block engine producing 495 horsepower, as well as an electric drive unit producing another 160 horsepower! This sports car will officially be the quickest Corvette ever, going from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.5 seconds! 

We also chatted with start-up company Joule Labs all about their robotic arm-enabled charging system for autonomous vehicles, perfect for rental cars and fleets! 

NIFT showed off its new QB self-driving shuttle, which features an all-electric range of 30 miles and a top speed of 11 miles per hour!

Other sweet rides we spotted include the Volkswagen ID. Buzz electric microbus along with the Rivian R1T & R1S electric vehicles!
