On our Mother’s Day special, we look at some fun floral ideas from expert Lesley Stowe.

Though you could hire someone to create an arrangement for you, some of the best gifts are handmade. Stowe gives us some tips on how to create our own handmade floral arrangements.

“People get very intimidated about making their own arrangements, and I’m always about doing something a little bit different, but keeping it simple.”

Stowe said.

Stowe added that it’s best to focus on one theme, and the little touches are what makes the flowers “bloom.” Most importantly, Stowe said to decorate in odd numbers.
