San Antonio Winery is the oldest and largest producing winery in Los Angeles.
The winery was founded in 1917, and has been an essential component of the city’s cultural and historical landscape ever since.
In the early 1960s, LA’s Cultural Heritage Board designated San Antonio Winery Cultural Monument Number 42.
California Life’s Peter Dills had a chance to visit the winery, which still sits at its original location on Lamar Street.
