For many, brunch is the perfect opportunity to combine breakfast and lunch and truly achieve the best of both worlds. Did you know that April is National Brunch Month

In honor of this delicious occasion, Coast to Coast was able to hear from award-winning chef and Food Network alumna, Palak Patel, all about her upcoming novel Food Is Love, as well as some of the best brunch recipes!

To Patel, spending time with family and friends is one of the most important aspects of any brunchtime celebration. With this in mind, she has created a cookbook that combines the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner and nourishes the whole family!

Let’s check out some of the delicious recipes featured!

For Patel, every brunch starts with freshly made coffee, which is why she recommends Starbucks’ limited edition at-home spring coffee collection! From cold brew to ground coffee, Starbucks has any brunch host covered with these delicious spring flavors!

Another tasty brunch favorite, according to Patel, is the ever-popular charcuterie board!

One great thing about charcuterie boards is their versatility and the ability to combine salty and sweet. To balance the saltiness of the meat and cheeses on the board, Patel recommends adding a sweet element, such as Sunsweet Probiotic Plus Prunes

Not only are prunes a great addition to any charcuterie board, but they can also elevate your brunch beverages and baked goods!

Try making Patel’s Mule Mocktail, featuring SunSweet Prune Juice or her delicious Prune Cinnamon Swirl Bread, and be sure to wow your guests with these delicious options!

The final step for Patel in achieving brunchtime greatness is adding a fresh bowl of fruit and you’re all set!
