Do you know your 5 important heart health numbers?Dana Vollmer is teaming up with the American Heart Association and CVS Health to spread the word about how you can get a free health screening every Wednesday in February.
If you live near a CVS minute clinic, you can take advantage of a free screening this February. Thanks to the American Heart Association’s Heart of a Champion campaign, you can walk in to get a free screening every Wednesday at CVS Pharmacies across the country.
In honor of Heart Health month, Team USA Gold medalist and American Heart Association ambassador Dana Vollmer partnered with CVS Health to advocate for increased heart health by empowering others with their health numbers.
This year, CVS Health is sponsoring American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® movement. Customers can visit their local CVS MinuteClinic on February 7, 14, 21, and 28 and receive a heart health preventive screening at no-cost to learn the five key personal health numbers that can help them determine their risk for heart disease. The five numbers to know are:
- total cholesterol
- HDL (good) cholesterol
- blood pressure
- blood sugar
- body mass index
As an ambassador for the American Heart Association, Dana Vollmer shares her personal story on the show this week. Learn more on the segment below and across the globe this week on California Life with Heather Dawson.
