IMG_9183Eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavor.

We’ve all heard it said, but we don’t all necessarily believe it. Well, Project Juice has made me a believer. All of the menu items are high in protein and fiber and feature organic, gluten-free and dairy-free ingredients.  And they’re YUMMY!

I just got a sample of the new summer menu at Project Juice Hillcrest, and it is as tasty as it is healthy.

The two cold-pressed juices I tried, Watermelon Berry and IMG_9182Jalagreeno 2.0, were cool, refreshing and not too sweet (and the Jalagreeno one had a nice little kick to it!)

I also tried the Avocado Toast, the Summer Kelp Noodles with Garlic Broccoli and the Fiesta Salad with Walnut Taco Crumble, Guacamole, Corn & Tortilla Strips. Each dish was delicious, but the Avocado Toast was, by far, my favorite.

IMG_9188Of course, you can’t forget dessert! Project Juice has a number of “superfood smoothies,” and the best part is, you don’t have to feel guilty about drinking them because they’re so good for you!

I tried the Strawberry Maca Mylkshake, which uses house-made almond mylk, strawberries, dates, vanilla, mac, coconut meat and cashews. It was rich, creamy and delicious!

The summer menu is available at all Project Juice locations. To find one near you, go to ProjectJuice.com.
