McDonald’s recently-opened-Chicago-flagship restaurant has been transformed for the month of October. Between now and Halloween, a festive light show and Halloween themed decorations adorn the restaurant located at 600 North Clark Street.
Production took more than 400 hours, approximately 10,000 individual LED lights, orange and purple outdoor spot lighting and hundreds of Jack-o-Lanterns, ghosts and skeletons framed all around the west façade of the restaurant.
This Halloween spectacle premiered this weekend, lighting up Chicago with pops of Halloween color, haunted décor and a 1,630 square foot LED light show set to spooky music. Tombstones mark some past McDonald’s favorites that premiered but didn’t stay on the menu, such as McPizza, the McD.L.T. and Onion Nuggets.
When the clock strikes 7 p.m. local time, Trick. Treat. Win!
Fright Lights! will run twice an hour until 10 p.m. local time. This entire display will be available for all to enjoy, rain or shine, through October 31.
The light show also spotlights McDonald’s introduction of a new national instant-win game. The Halloween-themed game – called Trick. Treat. Win! – gives customers two ways to play and a 1 in 4 chance to win awesome prizes instantly all month long. From food to vacations to an all-new 2019 Hyundai Sante Fe, some of the game’s top prizes available to win are showcased in the must-see Halloween display.
