Vote for Your Favorite Job Candidate Now Through June 27th to Win a $500 ROOLEE Gift Certificate
In May, women’s fashion brand ROOLEE launched a worldwide search for their first-ever CFO (“Chief Fashion Officer) via TikTok. The paid, 6-month position will be filled by the applicant who best exemplifies ROOLEE’s fresh, fun style and embodies the brand’s core values, including ROOLEE’s “World of Sisters” mission to help create a world where women and girls support one another and lift each other up. In the first round of the campaign, ROOLEE pledged to donate one dollar, up to $10,000, to Girl Up, a United Nations foundation inspiring girls to be a force for gender equality and social change, for every candidate TikTok post featuring the hashtags #ROOLEE CFO and #GIRLSROOL. This goal was met and exceeded, and to date, more than 6.5 million people have viewed the candidates’ submissions, which came from girls from Salt Lake City to South Korea! The successful candidate will help serve as an unofficial ambassador for GirlUp, helping to further ROOLEE’s “World of Sisters” message through participation in some of the foundation’s programs.

On June 7, a panel of judges, including ROOLEE founder Kylee Champlin, a member of Girl Up’s Teen Advisory board and a representative of TikTok, selected the top 100 candidates, each of whom was gifted a $100 ROOLEE credit to purchase clothing. Starting June 18, the top 100 candidates will submit a second TikTok video showing off their ROOLEE style wearing the fashions they’ve selected. The public will be able to follow and vote for their favorite among the finalists by visiting https://cfo.roolee.com/ between June 18 and June 27, 2021, for a chance to win a $500 ROOLEE Gift Certificate.
On June 30, the judges’ panel, taking into account voting input from the public, will select the top 10 finalists. The ten lucky finalists will then be whisked off to Utah (travel and lodging expenses included) for a ROOLEE shopping spree and a host of “TikTok-able” activities in and around Salt Lake City area. They will also meet ROOLEE’s founders, Kylee & Chad Champlin, and participate in a final round of interviews with the judges.

ROOLEE CFO applicants and finalists will be selected based on qualifications such as an ability to produce creative and original content, proficiency with social media platforms (specifically TikTok), the ability to authentically engage, sustain, and mobilize audiences, and the ability to represent and infuse content with ROOLEE’s brand values.
