Legendary oceanographer Jacques Cousteau once called Puerto Vallarta “the jewel of the ocean.”
Recent events may have dimmed its sparkle a bit, but the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board wants to ensure you that national, state and local law enforcement are working to ensure the safety of all who visit the area.
The popular tourist destination is set to host a number of international events and conventions in the coming months, including the International Gourmet Festival and the Most Beautiful Bays of the World annual conference.
The Tourism Board says it is committed to promoting the area’s “culture, adventure and history in an environment that feels safe and welcoming to all.”
