Spring is almost here, which means it’s time to clean out your closet! And if your closet happens to contain new or gently used special occasion dresses you no longer wear, we’ve got just the thing for you to do with them.
Prom Project, a partnership between YWCA and clothing recycler USAgain is now collecting prom dresses to donate to Orange County high school seniors facing financial hardships. They’ll be made available this Saturday in Fullerton.
Potential shoppers must fill out an application available at www.promproject.org.
Dresses may be dropped off at green and white USAgain bins located throughout Southern California. The process is simple for donors – bag your surplus dresses, label the bag PROM with a permanent marker and drop off the dresses in the local USAgain bins.
