One of our contributors, blondetobronze, has done a Coachella fashion update to get you in the know with the hottest trends in the desert.

It’s that time of year again! Coachella – a weekend filled with music, dusty air, overpriced everything and the most fashionable people you’ll ever see in your life.

Coachella is the one time people can make their wildest boho chic, fairy goddess dreams come true. You can literally wear the craziest thing you’ve ever imagined and it would be considered a ‘festival fashion statement.’ 5 necklaces stacked on top of your chest covered in body paint? Trendy. A rhinestone bra with fishnet leggings and tie dye shorts? Retro-chic. I’m telling you, you can do whatever you want and get away with it.

I’m not making it out to Coachella this year but to be honest, I’m not that sad about it because my favorite part of the festival is the fashion and I can see all of the outfits on social media anyways. So, to join in on the fun, I’ve decided to blog about my favorite Coachella trends from this year.

If I was going to Coachella, I would have worn something like this:

First, let’s start with the shades. At first, I was a little skeptical of the ‘John Lennon’ sunnie trend but then I tried them on and my life was changed. I’m being honest when I tell you I instantly felt 10x cooler. I know that 90% of girls at Coachella would be wearing them too but I wouldn’t even care I love them that much.

Also, I love love love the embroidered rose pattern that has been popping up on in stores left and right. This romper from Windsor has that pattern sewn into the top AND has a mesh train that flies through the air as I walk. Talk about making a statement.

Then, to top it all off (literally) I would wear a classic black hat. Not only does it keep my hair from flying all over the place, but it screams Coachella AND it’s on sale for $10!!

If you’re going to Coachella this year, dress like you mean it, be safe and have the time of your life! Thanks for reading, babes! XO
