When life hands you lemons, it’s likely they came from a Ventura County company.
Limoneira, meaning “lemon lands” in Portuguese, was founded in 1893 in Santa Paula, and is now one of the nation’s largest producers of lemons and avocados. They also produce oranges, specialty citrus, pistachios, pluots, and cherries.
California Life got a chance to tour the Limoneira Company, and learn how the lemons go from the orchards to your table.
